On the second episode of Offseason Chatter, we catch up with two-time Women’s National Team alum Amanda Gianelloni. Gianelloni talks about what growing up playing baseball as a girl was like, her transitions in and out of the game, and her time on SportsCenter’s Top 10. Gianelloni also shares a few of her favorites from the USA Baseball Shop. Gianelloni played softball at Nicholls State University from 2016-2019 where she collected numerous awards including being named Southland Conference Freshman of the Year. In 2016, she transitioned back into baseball to make her first Women’s National Team appearance where she held an .800 batting average as Team USA finished the season with a 6-1 record.
